I feel like I had a pretty easy and speedy recovery from top surgery, this could have been for a number of reasons but I think a lot of it was down to eating well and staying healthy.

This is Bettina Rheims’s “The Gender Studies.”
This is Rebecca Swan’s “Assume Nothing.”
Both are volumes of photography and interviews of twenty-seven people regarding their experience of gender.
Rheims’s has a homogenous group, posed in stereotypical model poses, and she describes them as “the third sex.” You can not access any interviews though her portfolio site.
Swan’s has a variegated group posed more idiosyncratically, and Swan does not speak for them. Instead, she lets the subjects speak for themselves.
Compare and contrast. And don’t act surprised when I tell you I own “Assume Nothing.”

If the greatest threat to his safety were police brutality, or the prospect of being done for a snitch; if his arch enemy weren’t Moriarty, but the systemic poverty and inequality that has him helping out his oppressors just to get by, and that makes the other side of the law look more tempting to someone with his skills every day.
